He started in London as part of the Global Economics & Strategy team for BZW, before moving to Tokyo where he ultimately served as Chief Economist.
After a short stint back in the UK, he returned to Tokyo with Jardine Fleming - initially as Chief Economist, then as Head of Research.
He remained with the firm as Director of Research for Japan through the mergers which created the new JPMorgan Securities, before returning to London with JPMorgan as Deputy Director of Corporate Research in Europe.
