Chris Daniel has over 20 years of experience in mezzanine, leveraged lending and private equity investing.
Prior to co-founding LC2, Chris was a Managing Director at Gladstone Investment Corporation, where he led their West Coast practice focusing on direct debt and equity investments in middle market companies.
Previously, he launched West Coast offices for Praesidian Capital Investors and Churchill Capital, building a western presence for those firms.
Earlier Chris was a Principal at Windjammer Capital Investors focused on subordinated debt and structured equity investing.
He was credit trained and began his career as a lender financing private equity-sponsored middle market businesses at Citicorp Securities.
Chris received a BA from UCLA, and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
He has served on or observed eighteen middle market company boards, and on several of them, served as Chairman representing the controlling shareholder.
