Dr. Cheryl I.
Smith is an Economist & Portfolio Manager at Trillium Asset Management LLC.
She leads the fixed income management process and leads the Large Cap Core and the Growth and Income strategies.
She began her investment management career at Trillium in 1987.
She re joined the firm in the fall of 1997.
In 1992, Dr. Smith joined Boston Trust & Investment Management Company (now known as Walden Asset Management) as Vice President and Portfolio Manager.
She has served on the Boards of Oikocredit USA, Cornerstone Capital Group, Episcopal Divinity School, and on the Steering Committee for the Institute for Responsible Investment.
She also served as chair of US SIF and was a member of its Policy Committee.
She is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the American Economic Association.
She holds a B.S.F.S.
degree from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and earned M.A., M.
Phil., and Ph.D.
degrees in Economics from Yale University.
