Mr. Shim joined Centinela in 2007, prior to which he was an Investment Banking Analyst with Credit Suisse's Media and Telecommunications Group in New York.
At Credit Suisse, Mr. Shim was involved in all phases of the investment banking transaction process including pitches, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis and deal execution.
His transaction experience includes the purchase of Deluxe Film by Ron Perelman’s MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc. for $750 million.
Prior to working at Credit Suisse, Mr. Shim was a Credit Analyst at Hana Financial in Los Angeles, California.
He was primarily responsible for sourcing overlooked creditworthy companies and preparing proposals to extend credit lines to larger established firms.
Mr. Shim facilitated the approval of over $1.5 million worth of in-house credit lines while he was with Hana Financial.
Mr. Shim graduated cum laude from Georgetown University where he received a B.S.
in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business from the McDonough School of Business.
