Brian Grieser

Mr. Brian Grieser is a Vice President & Senior Credit Officer at Moody's Investors Service Singapore Pte Ltd. He covers a portfolio of high yield issuers primarily in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
His main area of focus is in mining, particularly coal.
Mr. Grieser also covers companies in the shipping, oil & gas, manufacturing and services sectors.
Prior to his move to Asia in 2013, he spent about 10 years in Moody’s New York office focusing on a portfolio of high yield issuers.
Mr. Grieser covered a broad array of sectors while in the US, including commercial aerospace, manufacturing, food and beverage, and business and consumer services.
He has also worked as an Accounting Analyst in Moody’s Accounting Specialists Group, where he was responsible for assessing the impact of accounting and reporting matters on the credit profile of bond issuers.
Mr. Grieser joined Moody’s in April 2004 from Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was a manager in their Audit and Enterprise Risk Services group, covering primarily telecommunications clients.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and is a Certified Public Accountant.
