Dr. Gendreau joined ING Investment Management in the fall of 2004.
He brought with him an extensive background within finance that spans nearly 20 years.
Dr. Gendreau previously held the position of managing director for Heckman Global Advisors where he managed their emerging market equity allocation products.
Prior to that, Dr. Gendreau was a director and market strategist within Salomon Smith Barney’s Institutional Investor ranked asset allocation team.
Earlier he worked at JPMorgan as vice president in the Economic Research department.
Dr. Gendreau also served as an economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
He holds a B.A.
from Northwestern University, M.A.
from John Hopkins University, and a Ph.D.
in business economics from the Wharton School.
He is an Adjunct Professor of finance at N.Y.U.
