Prior to joining Atlas Brown, Mr. Brown ran Municrest Investment Management Company, a specialized investment advisory firm with $1.5 billion in assets under management.
Mr. Smith previously managed the municipal bond portfolio at General Reinsurance in Stamford, Connecticut, and headed the fixed income department at Employer’s Reinsurance in Overland Park, Kansas.
He began his investment career as a fixed-income portfolio manager at First Kentucky Trust Company (now National City Bank Kentucky).
Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Louisville.
