Ashley Burtenshaw

Mr. Ashley Burtenshaw is a Managing Director at Gryphon Capital Investments Pty Ltd. and a Chief Investment Officer at Gryphon Capital Income Trust.
As Managing Director and a Senior Portfolio Manager, he is a member of Gryphon’s Investment Committee.
He has over 30 years’ experience in financial markets that spans across a broad range of areas, including securitisation in debt capital markets, fixed income trading and funds management.
Before co-founding the firm, Mr. Burtenshaw spent five years at Threadneedle Investments as the Australian co-head responsible for managing the firm’s Global ABS portfolios.
Prior to this, he worked as a Director of fixed income at Credit Suisse First Boston and as a Senior ABS Portfolio Manager at Babcock and Brown.
He began his career as Fixed Income Trader with Nomura in the London and Tokyo offices.
He holds a Bachelor of Science, major in Mathematics from Queensland University of Technology.
