Amanda R. Smelser

Ms. Smelser joined Strategic Capital Partners in June 2007.
Prior to joining SCP, she spent seven years in various positions at 40/86 Mortgage Capital as a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager.
In this position, she managed a portfolio of property with $500 million in loans comprising approximately 5.5 million square feet and 180 properties.
She was responsible for overseeing the daily management of general accounting processes, accounts payable processing, cash management, remittment to investors, internal policies and procedures and SOX compliance as well as yearly property inspections and analysis of detailed budget variances and property taxes.
Prior to 40/86, she was a Financial Sales Representative at Union Planters Bank where she managed a staff of 5 customer service representatives, tracked and reconciled general ledger and cash accounts, analyzed financial statements and prepared internal control reports.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Computer Science from St. Mary of the Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She is currently pursuing her CCIM designation.
