Wall Street Ends a Tough Week
The main U.S. stock indexes fell sharply on Friday, weighed down by the release of a jobs report seen as troubling and by a surge in oil prices, now above $90 a barrel amid persistent tensions in the Middle East. The S&P 500 fell 1.33% to 6,740 points, the Dow Jones dropped 0.95% to 47,501.5 points and the Nasdaq 100 lost 1.51% to 24,643 points.
