Zhongxin Fruit and Juice Limited Announces Re-Designation of Tham Mun Chee as Lead Independent Director

The board of directors of Zhongxin Fruit and Juice Limited announced that re-designation of Independent Director to Lead Independent Director and to fill the vacancy of Chairman of the Audit Committee of the company. Mr. Tham Mun Chee is re-designated from Independent Director to Lead Independent Director of the Company with immediate effect. Following the abovementioned re-designation, Mr. Tham, who is also an existing member of Audit Committee, will fill the vacancy of Chairman of the Audit Committee of the company. The composition of the Audit Committee shall be as follows: Mr. Tham Mun Chee (Chairman); Ms. Quan Yuhong (Member); and Ms. Liu Xiuwen (Member).

The Company's primary business is the production of concentrated juice primarily for export to multinational food and beverage (F&B) corporations. The Company operates through two segments: Production of fruit juice concentrate and Processing of garlic. Its Production of fruit juice concentrate segment relates to the production of concentrated juice mainly for export to multinational F&B corporations in the United States, European Union, South Africa, Canada, Japan and Australia via SDIC Zhonglu Fruit Juice Co., Ltd (SDICZL). The concentrated juice produced is used as an ingredient in packet juice drinks, soft drinks, cider, yoghurt and candies. Its Processing of garlic segment is engaged in the processing, sorting, packaging and distribution of garlic. The Company's subsidiaries include Yuncheng Zhongxin Fruit and Juice Company Limited, and Xuzhou Zhongxin Fruit and Juice Company Limited.
