York Timber Holdings Limited Announces Board Appointments

York Timber Holdings Limited announced that Mrs. Hetisani Mbanyele-Ntshinga, Mr. Maxwell Nyanteh and Mr. Andries Brink have been appointed as independent non-executive directors of York's board of directors ("Board"), with effect from 14 February 2019. Furthermore, Messrs Nyanteh and Brink have been appointed as a member and chairman of the audit committee, respectively. Mrs. Mbanyele-Ntshinga has extensive experience in the forestry and agricultural sector in that she was responsible for growing Yarona Farms from a subsistence farming company to an award-winning maize producer in the Free State. Mr. Nyanteh is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) with over 15 years of experience in financial services, which includes, inter alia, current employment at Identity Capital Partners as a part of a team of professionals whose activities include carrying out strategic investments and advisory work. His previous employment was at Standard Bank, in the capacity of Dealmaker Leveraged Finance where he was responsible for deal sourcing, financial structuring, negotiation and execution of leveraged financed type transactions in the Business Banking area. Mr. Brink is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) with an extensive 30 years of experience in auditing domestic and multinational companies until his retirement in 2018. He currently serves as non-executive director at a number of international companies in South Africa. He has served on the Africa Governance Board of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for four years and, until recently, he acted as a leader of the Africa Private Company Services (PCS) and of the PwC Global PCS leadership team.
