Xtera Communications, Inc., along with its affiliates, filed a motion for joint administration of their Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases in the US Bankruptcy Court on November 15, 2016. As per the motion, the debtor seeks the joint administration of the cases of its affiliates, Xtera Communications Ltd., Neovus, Inc., Azea Networks, Inc., Xtera Asia Holdings, LLC, Xtera Communications Canada, Inc., Xtera Communications Hong Kong Limited and PMX Holdings, Limited, with its own case for administrative and procedural purposes. Xtera Communications, Inc. has been proposed as the lead debtor.
Xtera Communications, Inc. is a provider of subsea systems and telecoms technology.
