Winsome Diamonds and Jewellery Limited (BSE:507892) agreed to sell unit located in Plot No. 17/SDF, Kakkanad to another company in Special Economic Zone on August 27, 2012. The unit along with its machinery will be sold.

The unit reported turnover of INR 65.3 million, total assets of INR 128.3 million and total liabilities of INR 3.6 million for the year ended March 31, 2012. The transaction is subject to approval of shareholders of Winsome Diamonds. The Board of Directors of Winsome Diamonds and Jewellery approved the transaction on August 27, 2012.
