Tanga Resources Ltd (ASX: TRL) ('Tanga' or the 'Company') wishes to provide an update to shareholders on its Namibian exploration and corporate activities.

Soil sampling and ground magnetics is continuing over priority exploration targets within the Katerina prospect area on the Damara Gold Project. To date 714 follow-up soil samples have now been collected and sent for assay, including infill soils over the Okakombo target area, with initial results expected shortly.

With the increased exploration activities in Namibia, Tanga has expanded its in-country exploration and management capabilities, with the appointment of experienced geologist and country manger Mr Keith Webb.

Mr Webb holds a BSc Honours in Applied Geology from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. He has been involved in mining and exploration geology for the past 30+ years and has extensive experience within West, East and Southern Africa, as well as Turkey, covering a range of commodities including Gold, Copper, Nickel, Lead/Zinc, Uranium, and Diamonds. Mr Webb has been resident in Namibia since early 2006 and during this time has represented Extract Resources and INV Exploration as Country Manager, and Kalahari Minerals as Exploration Manager. Mr Webb has been an independent consultant since 2013.

In light of the focus on exploration activities, the Company also wishes to advise that Executive Director, Matthew Bowles has moved to a Non-Executive Director role.

Tanga's Damara Gold Project covers approximately 1,800km2 made up of seven licences located within major structural corridors of the highly prospective central Damara Orogenic Belt, Namibia.
