Wendel reports that it has reached an agreement with Providence Equity Partners to invest in Globeducate, one of the world's leading K-12 education groups, a transaction expected to be finalized in the second half of 2024.

Wendel would invest around €625 million in equity alongside Providence, and would own around 50% of the company's capital based on an enterprise value of around €2 billion.

With over 6,000 employees serving more than 40,000 students, Globeducate expects to achieve sales of around 440 million euros (of which around 80% in Europe) and adjusted EBITDA of around 120 million over the twelve months to the end of August 2025.
