Vestas Wind Systems A/S has received 73MW order from Terna Energy in Greece. The 73.2 MW order was placed by Terna Energy of Greece, a long-standing Vestas partner that has installed more than 350 MW in the country. The contract for the Agios Georgios wind power plant consists of nine V90-3.0 MW turbines and 14 V112-3.3 MW machines.

The order also comprises supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines as well as a five-year Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 agreement, a full-scope service package to maximise uptime and performance. Turbine delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2015 and the wind power plant is expected to start production by end of the year and be fully commissioned in the second quarter of 2016.
