Valmie Resources Inc. (OTCBB:VMRI), an emerging high-tech company focusing on the rapid commercialization of leading edge unmanned aerial system (UAS) technologies and solutions, delivers the following letter to its shareholders.

To our shareholders, partners, associates and employees:

Valmie experienced rapid growth in 2016, setting the stage for a tremendous future. Our team accomplished a lot last year, and we are energized and enthusiastic about the coming months.

Valmie's business viewpoint involves the firm belief that innovation drives profitability, especially for growth-stage organizations entering emerging industries. This belief continues to guide the company as it cultivates partnerships, and develops leading edge consumer-oriented products primed for rapid commercialization. This thought process will continue to move Valmie forward.

Here, we share the milestones achieved during the past year and our vision for growth.

2016 Milestones

In February, Valmie announced that it secured a sought-after 333 Exemption to commercially operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Valmie's aircraft now have permission to fly in the national airspace to conduct aerial data collection for agricultural applications, search and rescue operations, power line and pipeline inspections, infrastructure surveying, and aerial imaging.

As part of its aggressive expansion campaign, Valmie entered into a partnership with AeroLift eXpress. AeroLift is an elite unmanned transportation service that focuses on the oil and gas industry and is based upon military-grade vehicles and systems. Following a highly successful debut in May at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, AeroLift initiated a series of seminars to increase awareness about the latest technology available in unmanned commercial systems, and to present its service capabilities.

The AeroLift team has dedicated time to spreading the word about the game-changing approaches using UAV technology in Lagos, Nigeria; Monterrey, Mexico; the Texas Rio Grande Valley; Trinidad and Tobago; and back at their corporate headquarters in Houston's energy corridor.

In the meantime, Vertitek, Valmie's initial acquisition, has also been in full growth mode. Vertitek develops fully customized and integrated platforms that meet a variety of commercial requirements. Vertitek established a new division this year, Vertitek Racing, which specializes in fabricating and selling racing frames for the competitive drone racing industry. Vertitek Racing's original product, Model LDE 180, is one of the smallest, lightest and most durable drone racing frames in the industry, and has become popular among some of the fastest race pilots in the country.

As a result of that highly successful venture, Vertitek Racing now has its team of sponsored pilots that are promoting the Vertitek brand. One of the Vertitek team members qualified for the U.S. Drone Nationals, the first-ever such event to be nationally televised live on ESPN. The race took place August 5 through 7.

In September, Vertitek added two more FPV (First Person View) pilots to its drone racing team. This two-person crew participates in freestyle competitions and allows the team to compete on a broader level, further establishing Vertitek as a serious player in this exciting field.

In October, Vertitek Racing rolled out three new racing frame products as part of its plan to enhance its Engineering and Services Department, which will enable total in-house fabrication of commercial grade UAV products.

Valmie continued expanding its footprint into the drone racing field by becoming the major sponsor of a MultiGP Masters of Endurance race in Loranger, Louisiana. In addition to competing in the race, Vertitek provided its popular racing frames as prizes for the participating racing teams.

Vertitek capped off its growth surge by relocating to larger headquarters. Vertitek's new center of operations, located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, opened in October and houses Vertitek's expanded fabrication facility featuring the most modern technologies. This component will support 100% in-house design and production of prototypes for large-scale commercial drones.

During the past months, Valmie has been meeting with major university representatives in the U.S. and Mexico to explore collaboration with students and faculty members on portions of its upcoming UAS projects. Valmie expects these projects to ultimately benefit not only the UAS industry but also academia, by adding technology and innovative solutions.
