ISSUANCE OF NEW ORDINARY SHARES PURSUANT TO THE VESTING OF SHARE AWARDS UNDER VALLIANZ PERFORMANCE SHARE PLAN

The Board of Directors of the Company refers to the announcement dated 28 August 2017 in relation to the grant of share awards under Vallianz Performance Share Plan (the "Previous Announcement"). Further to the Previous Announcement, the Board wishes to announce that the Company has allotted and issued an aggregate of 35,666,675 new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company (the "New Shares"), to the Company's selected eligible employees pursuant to the vesting of the share awards under Vallianz Performance Share Plan on 02 January 2018 instead of the initial vesting date of 01 January 2018, which is a Public Holiday in Singapore.

The New Shares issued shall rank pari passu in all respects with the existing shares of the Company, save that they shall not rank for any dividends, rights, allotments, distribution or entitlement, the record date of which falls on or prior to the date of allotment of the New Shares. The New Shares will be listed, quoted and traded from 9.00 a.m. on or around 05 January 2018.

Following the allotment and issuance of the New Shares, the total number of issued voting shares in the share capital of the Company has increased from 9,027,122,770 to 9,062,789,445 ordinary shares.
