Vale S.A. informed that its Board of Directors approved the recomposition of Vale's Audit and Risks Committee ("Committee"). Mr. Manuel Lino Silva de Sousa Oliveira assumes the position of coordinator and remains as the Committee's financial specialist. Mr. Douglas James Upton was appointed as a new member and Mr. Paulo Hartung continues as a member.
The Committee remains composed of three members, all of them independent.
