URU Metals Limited announced that Mr. Paul Loudon, Chairman and Director and Mr. John Lynch, Director, have resigned from the Board of Directors of the company, with immediate effect. Mr. David Subotic will remain a Director of the company as the NWT Uranium Corporation (NWT) representative. Mr. Subotic will be assuming the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. The company also announced the appointment of Mr. Jay Vieira and Mr. Roger Lemaitre to the Board of Directors, with immediate effect.

Mr. Vieira is, and has been since 2006, a partner with the law firm of Fogler, Rubinoff LLP. Prior to that and since 2000, Mr. Vieira was an associate with Sui & Pathak, Sui & Company and Himlefarb, Prozanski as well as being as sole practitioner. Mr. Vieira focuses on the area of securities and corporate finance.

Mr. Vieira is a member of the Canadian and Ontario bar associations and the Law Society of Upper Canada. Mr. Roger Lemaitre is currently the company's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Lemaitre has more than 20 years of professional experience, predominantly with major mining companies and has held a variety of senior management positions with Cameco Corporation and was most recently Cameco's Director of Worldwide Exploration where.  Prior to joining Cameco, Mr. Lemaitre was a project and field geologist for senior mining companies and junior explorers searching for copper, zinc and gold.
