United Spirits Limited Announces Resignation of Vinod Rao as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director and Member of the Audit Committee, Effective December 15, 2021
United Spirits Limited announced that Mr. Vinod Rao, non-executive non-independent director of the Company and a nominee of Diageo Relay B.V., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Diageo Plc. has tendered his resignation from the directorship of the Company from end of day 15th December 2021 consequent to his resignation from the employment of Diageo group. Consequently, he will also cease to be member of the audit committee with effect from the aforesaid date.
United Spirits Limited is India's largest spirits producer. The group provides Scotch (Black Dog, Dalmore, Jura and White & Mackay brands), Whisky (Antiquity, Bagpiper, McDowell's No.1 and McDowell's No.1 Platinum), rhum (Celebration rum), vodka (Pinky, Romanov, Vladivar and White Mischief), gin (Blue Riband) and wine (Bouvet Ladubay and Four Seasons).
