The Manchester Arena, acquired by Development Securities in June 2010, has been ranked the second busiest venue in the world by Industry publication, Pollstar. Second only to London's O2 Arena, the Manchester Arena welcomed 1.2 million ticketholders through its doors last year, an increase of 12% on 2010.

Operated by SMG Europe, the Manchester Arena has played host to a number of world-class performances and sold out shows including Coldplay, Paul McCartney and Rihanna.
