TX GROUP AG Francesco Vass appointed CEO of ricardo.ch
Zurich, 23 November 2017 - Francesco Vass will become the new CEO of ricardo.ch as of 1 January 2018. He is leaving tutti.ch to join the online marketplace. Under his management, tutti.ch established itself as the leading classifieds platform in Switzerland. Previously, the native of Ticino built up the TV streaming service Zattoo as Vice President, Marketing & Content together with the founders and, among others, worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Francesco Vass studied electrical engineering at ETH Zurich, holds an MBA from INSEAD in Paris and Singapore and is a lecturer at the University of Zurich. The 43-year-old is married and has two children.
Francesco Vass will take over the position from Bodo Kipper, who is leaving ricardo.ch for personal reasons at the end of 2017. Under his management, the strategic direction of ricardo.ch was redefined and fundamental restructuring of the platform was initiated. ricardo.ch customers benefit from strengthened collaboration with professional retailers and a significantly expanded product range. Today, ricardo.ch provides more than one million offers and is growing continuously in the C2C field. Before Bodo Kipper joined ricardo.ch in 2015, he worked at Amazon Germany as Head of Merchant Services.
