Tsukishima Kikai Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the year ended March 2019. For the period, the company reported Net Sales were JPY 97,768 million as compared to JPY 85,095 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 7,796 million as compared to JPY 4,430 million a year ago. Ordinary profit was JPY 8,136 million as compared to JPY 4,759 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 4,996 million as compared to JPY 2,940 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share JPY 112.53 as compared to JPY 66.51 a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the year ended March 2020. For the period, the company expected net sales to be JPY 92,000 million. Operating profit to be JPY 6,000 million. Ordinary profit to be JPY 6,300 million. Profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 4,000 million. Basic earnings per share to be JPY 89.88.
Tsukishima Holdings Co Ltd, formerly Tsukishima Kikai Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the water environment business. The Company operates in two segments. The Water Environment segment is engaged in the design and construction of sludge disposal treatment plants for water filter and sewage treatment plants; the design, manufacture and sale of singular machineries; the operation, maintenance, management and repair of water filters and sewage treatment plants, as well as the digestion gas power generation project at a sewage treatment plant. The Industrial segment is engaged in the design and construction of plants for chemicals, steel, foods, liquid waste disposal and solid waste disposal; the design, manufacture and sale of crystallizers, filters, dryers, separators and among others. The other business is engaged in the printing and binding of large drawings, various documents, and the management and rental of office buildings and parking lots.
