Transneft PCD as the technical customer performs works as part of integrated reconstruction of Volodarskaya LODS.

This facility is part of the project 'Reconstruction of Trunk Pipelines System for Increasing the Amounts of Petroleum Products Transportation to Moscow Region'. The LODS is meant for receiving and pumping petroleum products from refineries (Moscow Refinery, Ryazan Refinery, Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez Refinery) to Ring petroleum products pipeline around Moscow. The final aim of the reconstruction is increasing the amounts of petroleum products transportation to Moscow Region, including diesel fuel, petrol and jet kerosene.

At the first stage of the integrated reconstruction of Volodarskaya LODS it is planned to construct a main pumping station and a tank farm pumping station, two PIG traps, a fire pumping station with tanks for emergency water storage, industrial pipelines and utility networks system with assembly of associated electrical equipment. As well, a tank farm with the total amount of 50 thousand cubic metres for diesel fuel and kerosene storage is under reconstruction.

At the present time works on installation and concreting of walls and foundations of the main buildings and constructions, assembly and welding of industrial pipelines are conducted. Dismantling of four vertical steel tanks (VST) has been finished. Instead of the dismantled tanks, assembly and welding of 4 new VST with the amount of 10 thousand cubic metres is conducted. Assembly of metal structures of VST with the amount of 2 thousand cubic metres and installation of macadam foundation of two VST for 5 thousand cubic metres (tanks for emergency water storage) have been performed.

Reconstruction of Volodarskaya LODS is planned to be finished in the 4 quarter of 2018.
