Toyo Suisan Kaisha Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2015. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 296,580 million, operating income of JPY 22,788 million, ordinary income of JPY 23,791 million, income before income taxes and minority interests of JPY 24,137 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 15,785 million or JPY 154.56 basic earnings per share against net sales of JPY 292,644 million, operating income of 19,846 million, ordinary income of JPY 21,190 million, income before income taxes and minority interests of JPY 21,905 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 14,193 million or JPY 138.97 per basic share a year ago.
For fiscal ending March 31, 2016, on consolidated basis, the company expects net sales of JPY 400,000 million, operating income of JPY 28,000 million, ordinary income of JPY 29,000 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 18,000 million or JPY 176.25 per basic share.
For the year end of fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, the company expects to pay dividend of JPY 30.00 per share against JPY 25.00 per share announced a year ago.
Toyo Suisan Kaisha Ltd is a Japan-based food manufacturing company. The Company operates through six business segments. The Seafood segment is engaged in the purchase, processing and sale of seafoods in domestic and overseas markets. The Overseas Instant Noodles segment provides cup and bag noodles mainly in the United States and Mexico. The Domestic Instant Noodles segment provides cup and bag noodles in Japan. The Low Temperature Food segment manufactures and sells steamed and roasted buckwheat noodles, raw ramen, boiled noodles, frozen noodles and commercial cocking products. The Processed Food segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of processed foods such as aseptic packaged rice, retort rice, soup, dashi-no-moto, bonito flakes, and paste products in Japan. The Frozen and Cold Storage segment is engaged in the provision of storage and freezing services. The Company also involves in the bag lunch, prepared food businesses.
