Emmanuel Adebayor believes the fans can play their part as we prepare for a key spell of four home games in 11 days.

We kick-off 2012 with the visit of West Brom to the Lane in the Premier League tomorrow night followed by Cheltenham in the FA Cup on Saturday then back-to-back league matches against Everton on January 11 and Wolves on January 14.

We sit third in the Premier League and 'Ade' is determined to start the year in style on home soil.

"We have three league matches at home and we have to take it game at a time and try to take maximum points," said the striker.

"There are important matches and we need our fans right behind us. We need the voice, the noise from our 12th man, the fans. I'm sure they will be with us.

"We have to do everything to take the three points."

Ade was disappointed after Swansea forced an equaliser six minutes from time in Saturday's 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium.

"It was a tough one, but they are a good side," he said. "We wanted to get the three points but that's football. We have to take it and keep going.

"We created chances and could have converted them but they played some amazing football as well and deserved to draw."
