Tohoku Chemical Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the six months ended March 2020. Net sales were JPY 15,320 million compared to JPY 15,464 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 143 million compared to JPY 155 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 100 million compared to JPY 111 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 107.70 compared to JPY 118.58 a year ago.
For the quarter ending September 2020, on consolidated basis, the company expects net sales to be JPY 31,700 million, operating profit to be JPY 316 million, profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 215 million, and basic earnings per share to be JPY 229.38.
