Toho Co., Ltd. provided consolidated earnings guidance for the six months ended July 31, 2022 and full year ended January 31, 2023. For the six months, the company expected net sales of JPY 94,800 million, operating loss of JPY 700 million, loss attributable to owners of parent of JPY 800 million and basic loss per share of JPY 74.37.
For the full year, the company expected net sales of JPY 200,000 million, operating profit of JPY 500 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 100 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 9.30.
TOHO Co.,Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the sale of all types of food, from commercial foods to household foods to users. The Company operates through four business segments. The Distributor segment is engaged in the purchase of ingredients for the restaurant industry, as well as supply and sale of them to the restaurant industry. The Cash and Carry segment is engaged in the purchase of ingredients for the restaurant industry, as well as the cash sale of commercial food to small and medium-sized restaurant companies. The Food Supermarket segment is engaged in the purchase of food and miscellaneous goods, as well as the development of food supermarkets. The Food Solution segment is engaged in the provision of ASP, quality management services and other solutions, as well as the import, manufacture and sale of commercial cooking equipment, coffee machines, interior design and construction of restaurants.
