In terms of ReserveBank of India's Circular dated April 27, 2017, The Karur Vysya Bank Limited informed that Shri Jana Sivaramakrishna has been designated as Chief Risk Officer of the Bank with effect from May 03, 2023, as the incumbent Shri S Kalyanram has tendered his resignation due to personal reasons. Shri Jana Sivaramakrishna is a Post Graduate in Business Administration and a Graduate in Commerce with 29 years of experience in banking. In his career, he has managed diverse functions of Credit Management, Underwriting, and Operations particularly in MSME sector with leading Banks like CSB Bank, Axis Bank and Yes Bank.

Shri Jana Sivaramakrishna joined Karur VysyaBank (KVB) in Jun 2019 as Deputy General Manager - CBG (Commercial Banking Group). He has been instrumental in formation and functioning of Business Banking unit, an initiative of KVB focusing on non-branch sourcing. He has also played a significant part in setting up policies and processes in line with KVBs risk appetite and ensuring its compliance.

He started his career as an officer in CSB Bank in 1993 and then moved on to Axis Bank, where he held diverse positions ranging from Analytical, Relationship and Leadership roles. In his immediately previous role, he served Yes Bank as Cluster Business Leader for Karnataka and Kerala states, where he was responsible for the growth of the Bank's MSME Portfolio and its asset quality.
