The Boston Beer Company, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 639.39 million compared to USD 634.33 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 601.6 million compared to USD 596.45 million a year ago. Net income was USD 45.3 million compared to USD 27.29 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.7 compared to USD 2.21 a year ago.

The Company produces alcohol beverages, including hard seltzer, flavored malt beverages, and hard cider at Company-owned breweries and its cidery and under contract arrangements at other brewery locations. The four primary Company-owned breweries are focused on production and research and development. It also owns four smaller local breweries that are mainly focused on brewing and packaging beers for retail sales on site at tap rooms and gift shops, and other.
