January 30, 2017

This year, Tenaris is sponsoring the Permian Production Optimization summit in Houston, Texas on January 31- February 1, 2017. This workshop has been specifically designed to address the well-to-barrel challenges of the Permian Basin, with topics ranging from well spacing, acreage acquisition and drilling, data analytics and artificial lift optimization.

On January 31, Rodrigo Ruiz, Sucker Rods Technical Sales Manager- North America, will be presenting 'Development of a Corrosion-Fatigue Resistant Steel for Sucker Rods,' which explains the new demanding challenges traditional sucker rods are facing, including rising water cuts and complexity of deep horizontals and shale completions. Tenaris has developed the AlphaRod™ CS Corrosion Service, a solution for corrosive environments that is able to withstand higher loads than traditional (API) sucker rods and overcomes fatigue and corrosion fatigue problems.

Find the complete workshop agenda here.
