Telefonica Deutschland : Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG appoints new CFO and extends the management board

The Directors for Strategy, Transformation and Communication will report directly to CEO Markus Haas. Eva Castillo Sanz, the chairwoman of the supervisory board of Telefónica Deutschland, says: 'The supervisory board decided on the reorganisation and simplification of the management structure in close consultation with CEO Markus Haas. We are looking forward to working with the extended management board. We also wish to thank Rachel Empey for her substantial contribution to the successful development of the company. She has been instrumental in positioning the company with shareholders and other capital market audiences, in particular during the IPO, the merger and the integration of Telefónica Deutschland and E-Plus.''Now that the integration of the companies is largely complete, we are moving ahead with the digital transformation of our company to the digital Onlife telco.
