TEK-Ocean Group Ltd. advised of the appointment of Ms. Melissa Skyum to the position of Administrative Manager supporting the office of the CEO and the re-appointment of Mr. Mathew Watkins to the role of Company Secretary following the departure Mr. Rod Hyslop for personal reasons, (previous CFO and Company Secretary). Skyum has over 20 years' experience within Business Services and Human Resources mostly within the energy sector. This commenced within the HR team at Fletcher Challenge Energy, before joining Upstream Petroleum (later to become AGR) in 2004. In 2007 she joined TEK-Ocean Energy Services as a new start up and was there for over 10 years before moving to Brisbane in 2018 where she has worked as a HR Manager for a not-for-profit organisation. Melissa is a generalist with her roles covering all aspects of human resources and office administration and has worked both autonomously and within larger HR teams. Melissa has a Commercial Diploma from the Imperial College of Commerce. Watkins is a Chartered Accountant who has extensive ASX experience within several industry sectors including Biotechnology, Bioscience, Resources and Information Technology. He specialises in ASX statutory
reporting, ASX compliance, Corporate Governance and board and secretarial support. Watkins is appointed Company Secretary on a number of ASX listed Companies. Watkins is employed at Vistra, a professional Company Secretarial and Accounting firm. Vistra has vast experience working with listed entities and brings a strong background of working with growing companies within the Energy industry.
