We have donated £2,500 to the Canterbury and District Early Years Project to help them continue to provide important support services to children and families.

The Canterbury and District Early Years Project offers a variety of services to aid the development of young children from all backgrounds, as well as support for parents and carers. These include confidence building sessions, guardian groups, paediatric first aid, sensory groups, parenting support programmes, play sessions and family events,. In addition, the charity offers a drop in health clinic facility.

Jennie Thomspon, Manager at the Canterbury and District Early Years Project, said: 'We are extremely grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their support towards our services, and for the local community who nominated us to receive this funding. It is so important to us to provide a variety of programmes and classes to help children and their parents or carers and we are excited to see how our services might evolve with this kind donation.'

Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South East, said: 'We are committed to giving back to the communities in which we build our new homes and were delighted to offer a donation to the Canterbury and District Early Years Project following our appeal. The charity does amazing work in supporting children and their families across Canterbury and we hope our donation goes some way to helping them to continue its important services.'
