Taylor Morrison Home Corporation announced that Alan Laing will be joining the company as executive vice president of its homebuilding operations. Previously, Alan served as the president and CEO of Orleans Homes, a homebuilder from which Taylor Morrison acquired three divisions in 2015. Alan will report directly to President and CEO Sheryl Palmer and oversee three area presidents as well as the homebuilding operations infrastructure for Taylor Morrison.

As a complement to Taylor Morrison's existing team of talented operators, in this new role, Alan will focus on operational optimization on a national level; specifically, operational efficiencies and institutionalizing best-in-class production practices throughout Taylor Morrison's purchasing and green building sectors to drive financial performance. Alan will also focus on creating consistencies across Taylor Morrison's operations to improve both the customer and employee experience, allowing the business to further focus on the imperatives of the Taylor Morrison four pillar strategy. Alan will assume his role beginning on Jan.

18 and will be based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
