Change of Roles, Chair & Secretary

Rick Cooper

After an incredible 11 years as Chair of SCCFSL Rick Cooper has decided to step down from this role but to remain on the board as a director and mentor to the newly elected Chair, Trish Radge.

During his time as Chair, Rick Cooper has overseen an extensive transformation in our Community Banks;

• The negotiation and purchase of commercial buildings in Cooroy and Tewantin
• The renovation and transformation of the Cooroy and Tewantin Noosa branches into 'Branches of the Future'.
• Guiding the business during 2 years of the COVID 19 pandemic
• Shareholder dividends have continued despite the impact of COVID and record low interest rates.
• Passionate community advocate and supporter of the Bendigo Bank Community Bank model.
• A business visionary who was instrumental in SCCFSL growing from a "Mums and Pops " Bank to a sophisticated modern-day business.
• Oversaw the Board's transition from meeting at Cooroy Library where directors met on temporary furniture to a state-of-the-art Boardroom which we can share with community groups.
• Has provided guidance and support to smaller Bendigo Bank Community banks.

Trish Radge

Trish joined the board in 2018 as Secretary. With a strong background in compliance and administration Trish furthered her qualifications by completing a Certificate in Governance Practice in January 2022. Trish is an advocate for the bank's community engagement and support programs.

Trish has accepted the role of Chair and has stepped down as Secretary.

David Green

David Green joined the board in 2017 as Treasurer. David has overseen a change in auditor which was a positive move for the business. David has accepted the additional role of Secretary.
