TRADING HALT

The securities of Sundance Resources Limited (the "Company") will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 31 January 2018, or when the announcement is released to the market.

The Company requests an immediate trading halt of its securities until open of trading on Wednesday, 31 January 2018 or release of an announcement by the Company.

The reason for the request is pending an announcement on the decision from the Cameroon Government regarding the extension to the Convention.

An announcement will be made to the market prior to the open of trading on Wednesday, 31 January 2018 or earlier.

The Company is not aware of any reason why its securities should not be halted.

Sundance Resources Limited is an Australia-based iron ore company. The Company is engaged in evaluation and de-risking of its Mbalam-Nabeba Iron Ore Project in the Republics of Cameroon and Congo in Central Africa, and evaluation of various development scenarios for Mbalam-Nabeba Iron Ore Project. The Mbalam-Nabeba Iron Ore Project includes iron ore deposits in the Republics of Cameroon and Congo in Central Africa. The Mbalam-Nabeba Iron Ore Project is located approximately 485 kilometers east of the coastal city of Kribi. The Mbalam-Nabeba Iron Ore Project straddles the border of Cameroon and Congo in Central Africa. The Mbalam-Nabeba Iron Ore Project includes Exploration Permit 92 (EP92) located in the East Province of Cameroon (Mbarga), and Mining Permit Nabeba-Baamegod located in the Sangha Province of the Congo (Nabeba). EP92 contains the Mbalam deposit. The Company, through its subsidiaries, Cam Iron SA and Congo Iron SA, holds interest in the Mbalam-Nabeba Iron Ore Project.
