STINA INSTALLS SOFT WAVE AT HILLCREST COMMUNITY CENTRE

Stina Resources Ltd. ("the Company"), CSE: SQA is pleased to announce it has installed a Soft Wave unit on the Evaporative Condenser for the Ammonia system at the Hillcrest Community Center in Vancouver. The unit cools the facility's Olympic curling and hockey rinks. Benchmark water tests will now been conducted as chemical treatment is eliminated, allowing the Company to demonstrate Soft Wave can eliminate scaling naturally. The Company's goal is to demonstrate the cost savings and environmental footprint reduction using Soft Wave technology, specifically in industrial settings. By establishing Soft wave technology as a new and effective alternative to chemical treatment, monetization of the technology will be quickly realized, translating into increasing revenues for Stina. This will help define a business model that would include a wide range of commercial and residential customers.

Update on PNE Coliseum Soft Wave Tests

Recent Soft Wave test results on the comparative dual evaporative condensers at the Coliseum show the unit using Soft Wave, and in the absence of chemical water treatment, has a significant lower TDS level (Total Dissolvable Solids), while other levels such as Ph remain in check. (TDS levels of 426 I the untreated unit and 159 in the Soft Wave unit. Initial levels were 456 in the untreated unit and 430 in the Soft Wave treated unit when measured in November 2016 - per 10mb/ L. Ph levels remained almost unchanged)

The drop in the TDS levels indicates that the water in this Soft Wave unit is less saturated with solid materials, and scaling is being reduced. Furthermore, water can be cycled more frequently than if the TDS levels were higher, so less makeup water is required. This means water savings at the Coliseum operation in addition to savings in chemical costs on this unit. Further tests and analysis are forthcoming and the Company is very encouraged by the results which show Soft Wave is working.

This means potential large scale industrial cost savings through reduced wear and tear on components, reduced liability, reduced overhead, and increases in efficiency. Potential customers are numerous, from power plants, to refineries, steel factories, agricultural operations, food production plants, city water systems, and residential homes. Stina acquired the Canadian distribution rights for Soft Wave from AGT in 2016.
