- Development of predictive maintenance activities on the French electronuclear sites
- Acquisition of competences in acoustic control

Cergy, January 26, 2017 - SPIE Group, the European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, announces the acquisition, by its subsidiary SPIE Nucléaire, of Maintenance Mesure Contrôle ('MMC'), a company specialized in predictive maintenance on electronuclear sites.

Founded in 1989 and based in Yutz, Lorraine, MMC specialises in acoustic control, air leakage tests and infrared thermography on the French electronuclear sites. MMC employs 15 people and recorded revenues of 3 million euros in the year ended March 31, 2016.

Olivier Domergue, Managing Director of SPIE Nucléaire, declared: 'The acquisition of MMC allows us to develop our competences in the field of predictive maintenance. The non-intrusive alternative offered by MMC on certain sensitive elements brings the electronuclear operator a sizeable gain in terms of energy efficiency, maintenance time, load balancing and dosimetry.'

Lucien Calisti, founder and Managing Director of MMC, added: 'We are delighted to join the SPIE Group as we are convinced that it will allow us to extend our reach and to provide an expanded service to our clients.'
