CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

DELAY IN PUBLICATION OF INTERIM RESULTS AND

DESPATCH OF THE INTERIM REPORT

FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2019

This announcement is made by Sound Global Ltd. (the "Company") pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities (the "Listing Rules") on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Stock Exchange") and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined in the Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571, Laws of Hong Kong).

CLARIFICATION

Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 29 August 2019 (the "Announcement"). Unless otherwise specified, capitalised terms used in the Announcement shall have the same meanings when used herein.

The Company would like to clarify an inadvertent clerical error contained on page 1 of the Announcement, that the second paragraph under the section headed "WITHHOLDING OF DELISTING" was incorrectly stated as "Nonetheless the Stock Exchange stated in the Letter that it has now decided to withhold exercising its right to cancel the listing of the Company under Listing Rule 6.01A(2)(b)(ii) for six months, until 31 January 2020.", and the correct statement should read "Nonetheless the Stock Exchange stated in the Letter that, after consultation with the Securities and Futures Commission, the Stock Exchange has withheld exercising its right to cancel the listing of the Company under Listing Rule 6.01A(2)(b)(ii) for six months, until 31 January 2020 .".

Save for the above clarification, all the information in the Announcement remains unchanged.

DELAY IN PUBLICATION OF INTERIM RESULTS AND DESPATCH OF THE INTERIM REPORT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2019

Pursuant to Rule 13.48(1) and Rule 13.49(6) of the Listing Rules, the Company is required to publish the announcement in respect of its interim financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2019 (the "2019 Interim Results") not later than two months after the end of the relevant financial period, i.e. on or before 30 August 2019, and to despatch its interim report for the six months ended 30 June 2019 (the "2019 Interim Report") to the shareholders of the Company (the "Shareholders") not later than three months after the end of the relevant financial period, i.e. on or before 30 September 2019.

The Company wishes to announce that, the Company's auditors have been performing audit procedures with respect to the Company and its subsidiaries and require more time to complete its works in respect of the 2019 Interim Results. Based on the current progress of works, it is estimated that the 2019 Interim Results and the 2019 Interim Report will be available for publication by the end of November 2019. The Company will work closely with its auditors and make further announcement(s) to update Shareholders of any changes to the proposed publication date or any update information as and when appropriate.

CONTINUED SUSPENSION OF TRADING

Trading in the shares of the Company on the Stock Exchange has been suspended with effect from 9 a.m. on 13 April 2016 and will remain suspended until further notice.

The Company will keep the Shareholders and potential investors informed of any material development in connection with the above matters by way of periodic announcements and/or further announcement(s) as and when appropriate.
