Sofiva Genomics Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 133.249 million compared to TWD 123.097 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 15.050 million compared to TWD 5.413 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 19.692 million compared to TWD 8.402 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.93 compared to TWD 0.4 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.92 compared to TWD 0.39 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 257.837 million compared to TWD 242.198 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 21.029 million compared to TWD 11.788 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 28.600 million compared to TWD 18.832 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.35 compared to TWD 0.89 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.34 compared to TWD 0.88 a year ago.
Sofiva Genomics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in provision of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) testing services. The Company's DNA testing services mainly contain reproductive medicine testing, pregnant women testing, newborn testing, rare disease genetic testing, personalized genetic testing, cancer genetic testing, and genetic counseling services. Reproductive Medicine testing is pre-implantation genetic diagnosis for embryos. Pregnant women testing services predict the occurrence of preeclampsia and provide prenatal diagnosis. Neonatal testing services provide neonatal hearing loss genetic test, respiratory distress syndrome test, congenital cytomegalovirus infection test service.
