Cotton planting reaches 21.9% for the area in Brazil for 2021/2
The National Supply Company (CONAB) informed that the planting of the 2021/22 cotton crop has advanced to 21.9 for the area in the seven main producing states in Brazil (which represent 98.2% of the total), according to a weekly survey, with data collected up until December 25th. During the previous week, sowing was at 11.6%. During the same period last year, the number was 23.4%.
