Sipa Resources Ltd (ASX:SRI) managing director Pip Darvall sits down with Proactive’s Elisha Newell to discuss the gold and base metal explorer’s 2023 field season at the Paterson North Project.

The A$1.8 million work program — part of a farm-in and joint venture agreement between Sipa and Rio Tinto Exploration (RTX) — has kicked off with a heritage survey and access work on the highest priority drill targets.

Darvall says it’s all systems go as Sipa prepares for an upcoming drill program, expected to kick off next quarter over two key trends.

“The field season in the Paterson is now in full swing, and our preparations for drilling are rapidly being completed,” he explained to ASX investors on Tuesday.

“We look forward to providing updates as they are available and in particular drilling results from the highest priority targets at the project.”

Sipa is managing the Paterson North Project, where RTX has expensed roughly A$4.9 million to date.
