Singapore, 6 December 2018 - SPH Radio station 96.3 Hao FM kicked off its three-month anniversary celebrations last weekend at Kallang Wave Mall.

The highlight was a special exhibition of around 100 cassette tapes of albums by popular Mandopop singers from the 80s and 90s, complete with cassette players for visitors to listen to the tapes. The displays were a hit with the crowd, many of whom were excited to see cassette tapes of their idols. One father shared with his children that these cassette tapes were a big part of his growing up years, and started listening to his favourite songs with them. The 96.3 Hao FM DJs also led a singalong with the enthusiastic crowd.

Another highlight was a photo exhibition of some of 96.3 Hao FM's memorable moments over the past year. The station even managed to work the lyrics of its theme song, specially written by Chen Jiaming and Jimmy Ye, into the exhibition.

Ms Carine Ang, Senior Programme Director of 96.3 Hao FM said: 'This song is our station's soul. The two songwriters have accurately captured what we imagine 96.3 Hao FM to be, with beautiful lyrics and a nice melody. Our listeners like it, so we have included it in the exhibition so everyone can appreciate it. The exhibition is due to travel, so stay tuned to 96.3 Hao FM!'

In conjunction with 96.3 Hao FM's first anniversary, Royal Caribbean International is sponsoring three prizes of 4Day3Night cruises for two to Malaysia. During the two-day event, around 1,000 people wrote their hopes and wishes for 2019 and put them up on a board, and the station will select the best message and give out the three prizes over the next three months. The exhibition will continue to collect messages from fans as it moves around Singapore. The public can also participate and stand a chance to win by sending an SMS to 97170963, with the keyword '365', followed by the best thing that has happened to them in 2018 or their wishes for 2019.

96.3 Hao FM DJs will also be on board a 4Day3Night cruise with Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas to Penang, Malaysia on 11 March 2019, as part of the anniversary campaign. The public can sign up for this cruise and enjoy exclusive cruise activities and performances by 96.3 Hao FM DJs. Current promotion for the cruise is priced at $963 for 2 (Balcony Room).
