Silicon Optronics, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 661.732 million compared to TWD 492.012 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 56.825 million compared to TWD 15.942 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 56.046 million compared to TWD 16.186 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.72 compared to TWD 0.21 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,616.079 million compared to TWD 1,445.058 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 96.073 million compared to TWD 95.590 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 98.820 million compared to TWD 83.209 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.27 compared to TWD 1.17 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.26 compared to TWD 1.17 a year ago.
Silicon Optronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development and distribution of complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors and modules. The Company's products include Video Graphics Array (VGA) area CMOS image sensors, high definition (HD) /Full HD area CMOS image sensors, two Mb/five Mb/eight Mb area CMOS image sensors and 1200/2400 dots per inch (dpi) linear CMOS image sensor/modules.
