SHO-BI Corporation (TSE:7819) acquired Melly Sighte Co., Ltd. from JAFCO Super V-3 Investment Limited Partnership, a fund of JAFCO Co., Ltd. (TSE:8595), Toshitaka Sato, Shigeto Kimura and other individuals for ¥1.1 billion on April 30, 2013. Toshitaka Sato and Shigeto Kimura hold 33.4% and 13.4% stake respectively. Melly Sighte reported net assets of ¥49.34 million, total assets of ¥515.05 million, sales of ¥597.77 million, operating profit of ¥68.36 million, ordinary profit of ¥67.98 million, net profit of ¥39.39 million for the year ended October 2012. Upon closing, Masahide Terada, Shinya Mishima, Keishi Kamagata, Tadaaki Toyokura will appointed as Directors and Yasuo Miyoshi as auditor of Melly Sighte. The Board of Directors of SHO-BI resolved the transaction.
