Guangxi Sun Paper Co., Ltd announced that it will receive CNY 500,000,000 in an equity round of funding on August 29, 2021. The transaction will include participation from returning investor Shandong Sunpaper Co., Ltd. to retain its 100% stake in the company. Post completion of the transaction, the capital of the company will increase CNY 1,500,000,000 to CNY 2,000,000,000. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of Shandong Sunpaper Co., Ltd. in the 22nd meeting of the seventh board of directors and is not subject to shareholders approval.
SHANDONG SUN PAPER CO., LTD., formerly SHAN DONG SUN PAPER INDUSTRY JOINT STOCK CO., LTD., is a China-based company, principally engaged in the paper making business. The Company's main products include non-coated cultural paper, coated paper, household paper, laminating base paper and kraft paperboards. Its coated packaging paper boards are mainly applied in cigarette and liquor packaging, as well as home appliance packaging. The Company is also engaged in the generation and distribution of electric power, as well as the manufacturing and sale of steam, chemical-mechanical pulps and dissolving pulps. It distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
