COMUNICADO AO MERCADO
A Sequoia Logística e Transportes S.A. ("Sequoia" ou "Companhia") (B3: SEQL3) em cumprimento ao disposto no artigo 12 da Resolução da Comissão de Valores Mobiliários ("CVM") nº 44/21, comunica aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral que, em 15 de agosto de 2022, recebeu uma correspondência da DWS Investment Management Americas, Inc., em nome de alguns de seus clientes e na qualidade de administrador de investimentos, informando o aumento de suas participações que passaram a ser, de forma agregada, 7.110.072 ações ordinárias, correspondentes a aproximadamente 5,1% do total de ações ordinárias de emissão da Companhia.
A Companhia ressalta que as informações específicas exigidas pelo artigo 12 da Resolução CVM 44 constam da correspondência enviada pelo DWS Investment Management Americas à Companhia, conforme documento anexo a este comunicado.

NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Sequoia Logística e Transportes S.A. ("Sequoia" or "Company") (B3: SEQL3), pursuant to the provisions of CVM Resolution No. 44/21, hereby announces to its shareholders and to the market in general that, on August 15, 2022, it received a notice from DWS Investment Management Americas, Inc., on behalf of some of its clients and in the capacity of investment manager, informing that it has increased its ownership of common shares issued by the Company and as a result its aggregate holdings totaled up to 7,110,072 common shares, representing approximately 5.1% of the total common shares issued by the Company.
The Company highlights that the specific information required by article 12 of CVM Resolution 44 is included in the notice sent by DWS Investment Management Americas to the Company herein attached.
